About the New York Times “Last of New York’s Master Wigmakers” Article
Recently the New York Times published a spectacular article regarding some of my fellow New York City wig makers. It was terrific to see such thorough research done on the craft that we hold dear to our hearts here at LeMetric. The tone of the article was nostalgic and fairly sad as the title suggests, but change happens, and the new guard will steps up as the old guard moves on.
That’s why we offer regular continuing education classes in wig making and all forms of additional hair. We want to encourage and nurture the new guard and pass on all the things we’ve learned over our many years in the industry. We understand how as professionals, learning is an on-going process and helps one stay ahead of the competition.
We are too busy to get nostalgic, and we refuse to be sad because at LeMetric we are doing what we love which is teaching the next generation of wig makers to be the very best.
